Q. What is the life of the food after it has been delivered?

A. All of our fresh produce is labelled with shelf life.

Q. How will skinning and boning affect the fish?

A. The fish will still be one whole piece but it will be ready for cooking straight away. It will weigh slightly less though.

Q. When do I expect my delivery?

A. All deliveries will be made between 3:30pm and 9:30pm if you are likely to be out at time of delivery please inform us of where we can leave your order for you.

Q. Why is my bill different to the prices quoted? 

A. All prices are quoted on a per Kg basis. We weigh all products individually and charge you for what you receive just like in your supermarket or butchers shop. If you need a particular size or weight please let us know.

Q. Where do I find product information?

A. All storage instructions and use by dates will be clearly printed on the label on each product you receive.

Q. How much is fish preparation?

A. All preparation is free but subsequent weight loss will occur.

Q. Why does preparation lead to weight loss?

A. All fish is weighed then prepared just as in  your supermarket or fishmongers. When fish is boned expect a weight loss of 10% approx and when fish is skinned and boned expect a 20% weight reduction. Gutting reduces weight by 10% and filleting will lose 40%!
